The children have dug the garden to prepare it for planting. Their hard work has certainly paid off.
Children worked hard on their robot projects in the senior room and demonstrated to the younger classes.
The cold weather brought lots of outdoor fun and learning for the children. Ice art was a big hit. There were also many opportunities for creative play in the snow.
We had a fantastic day on Tuesday putting on our Christmas show and selling lots of goodies at our Christmas market. Well done to all our young stars.
We had a wonderful day on the rocky shore in Rosses Point. We explored rock pools and identified seaweeds and small creatures living on the rocky shore. The sun shone all day.
We had a busy Science Week in the school on the theme of water. We conducted experiments, explored habitats and studied the amazing human body.
The senior room enjoyed exploring our native trees on a nature walk. Children in the junior room created hedgehogs with fallen leaves while the senior room painted autumnal trees. We made the most of the sunshine with outdoor learning.
A day without electricity gave us the perfect opportunity to explore our surroundings with a nature walk and study of our native plants. We caught up with some planting and preparing the school garden for the growing season.
The rain did not deter these Easter Egg hunters. Meanwhile, parents and teachers enjoyed the coffee morning to welcome our new families to the school. Thank you to all who helped out today.
